Happy 2nd Birthday Logan!
It's so hard to believe that it has already been two years since you came into this world! I guess it's true when they say that kids grow up so fast. You have been so much fun this past year and SO much easier to please; I guess all you have ever wanted to do was walk and talk and since you have started that you haven't stopped and you've been a whole new happier baby! (ahem excuse me, toddler!) I can't wait for all the fun we will have this next year together!
We did a sports theme for your party since you love balls, sports books, and watching and playing any sport you can. You are all about basketball and football right now, but we asked Papa to make you a soccer net and boy did you get excited when you saw it! You loved seeing all the sports decorations around and having your friends and family come over for your party. You especially loved blowing out your candle, eating cupcakes, singing happy birthday to yourself and of course opening presents. You really got into it this time and you know all about what presents mean now! Which means Christmas should be fun this year too :) You were very loved by everyone because you got a bazillion toys and everyone had fun playing with them and you afterwards too! You partied hard and were so excited when you woke up the day after your party to play with all your new toys. You especially liked your new guitars, giant remote control excavator and kitchen. You had so much fun, I can't wait for next year!

On your actual birthday we were in California staying with Auntie Panda for the Malibu Triathlon. You got to wear a special "birthday boy" pin which you were very proud of. We went out for birthday pancakes (you were talking about wanting pancakes all day before!) with mimi and papa then we all went to a children's museum where you had fun playing in an airplane and ambulance. There were a lot of other fun things there too but you are all about the transportation! Afterwards we went to the beach to pick up the packets for the race and you got to go down to see the ocean for a few minutes. We didn't stay long because although you loved looking at the ocean you were not a fan of having your feet in the sand! That night we met with Aunt Panda for dinner at her house and you got to open one last present from mom and dad, a collection of mini construction trucks, you were thrilled! You know all the construction trucks by name :) We had fun playing with you and spending the day together!

We spent the rest of the weekend in Malibu and watched daddy, papa and aunt Panda race in the triathlon. You had fun cheering them on and you did a million times better this trip then the last triathlon in Malibu! You warmed up to the beach by the last day and had fun playing in the sand while watching the swim portion of the triathlon, as long as you had socks and shoes on you were fine :) There were fun kids activities there for you to do too and you had fun coloring, making sand art necklaces and getting a fish painted on your arm, you sat so still for it and were so proud of it afterwards. You are growing into such an amazing and fun little boy, I love spending time with you and getting to go to all these new fun places together and watching you learn, change, and grow. Toddler years are the best!
